You're taking piano lessons for your own enjoyment. You like the idea of learning to play!
You want to play music that sparks your interest and allows an outlet of your own unique creativity.

And, in this process, who is ultimately in charge?

Why, YOU of course!

Many people hesitate to take lessons because they remember taking piano lessons. Or perhaps
you have a memory of playing songs that you hate.

Maybe you never had lessons but you have an idea that piano lessons involves boring repetition
and a condescending instructor who will push you to play things you don't like.

That is not the case at this studio.

You're taking piano lessons as an enjoyment, right? Then they should be enjoyable! At Cary Piano Teacher
you will find an instructor who will lead you through the process of learning to play without playing scales
repetitiously or pushing on you music that you don't find very interesting. The spark that you had when
investigating piano lessons is the same spark you'll retain throughout this process. We WANT you to
love music and we want you to enjoy creating your own music.

Jerry McLendon has 50 years experience helping guide thousands of people into the world
of piano playing. He understands the uniqueness of individuals and will help construct a curriculum
that will keep that spark during the learning process.
